THE EXPERIENCE
Discover Lake Atitlán from two completely different perspectives on an adventure that takes you across its waters and into the mountains along its northern shoreline.
Your journey begins in Santa Cruz La Laguna, where you’ll set off by kayak toward the beautiful lakeside village of Tzununá. Paddle beneath steep green hillsides and take in views of the surrounding volcanoes as you discover a quieter side of one of Guatemala’s most extraordinary landscapes.
Along the way, pause for a refreshing swim in the lake and enjoy the peaceful surroundings before continuing toward Tzununá.
But the adventure doesn’t end at the water’s edge.
Trade your paddle for hiking shoes and follow the historic Lower Mayan Trail back toward Santa Cruz. This scenic mountain path connects lakeside communities and offers a completely different perspective of Atitlán, with winding trails, dramatic hillsides, and panoramic views over the water.
Accompanied by a bilingual adventure leader, you’ll experience the natural beauty of the Guatemalan highlands while discovering the landscapes that connect its lakeside villages.
It’s the perfect combination of movement, exploration, and connection with nature.
